Very pleased with everything so far ... ABF shipped 2 days early, called the day before ... backed my pickup to their liftgate and transferred package, shipment in great shape. I live 25 miles away in the mountains and picked an easier drop off point.
Layed box on side on pallets ABF gave me, facillitated wheel/axle/chassis stand assembly; rolled upright, attached handle, checked all bolts from factory, good and tight; attached a 4' 6 guage battery ground cable spiked into the ground; filled the generator with oil and gas, used the rope pull to rotate engine slowly several times to lubricate parts, set choke, flipped on switch, and started imnmediatley with first light pull ... let it run a few minutes to stabalize, flipped on main breaker, plugged in a circular saw and listened as it came to speed with the current draw. Not loud at speed, much quieter than my old Coleman 4 kw industrial.
I have no problem with rope pull location, and upon reading earlier reviews have no need to modify the frame for the rope pull, and may not purchase battery.
Very pleased with the thought put into this generator, from GFCI circuit breakers to included 30 amp RV plug.
I'm anxious to test my 110 volt Plasma cutter ... see if 8,250 Watt surge/7,250 Watt continuous runs it at 8,500 ft altitude.
Wery pleased with product quality, price and shipping, have several projects planned at altitude my older 4,000 Watt generator couln't do.
