Cheapest ETQ TG72K12 8,250 Watt 13 HP 420cc 4-Cycle OHV Gas Powered Portable Generator with Electric Start (Non-CARB Compliant)

Living in north central Arkansas, we have our fair share of power outages. Just last year alone the power was out a total of 18 days. (Tornado, ice, flood, snow, and a hurricane) When we had the big ice storm this year (lost power for 8 days) I decided to finally buy a generator. I looked for a few weeks and I stubbled on this one. Our house is a fully electric house and we needed a big generator.

I bought this generator and it took about 3 days to receive it. It was shipped in its oringal box and had a few little holes from shipping. I opened the box and found nothing was damaged. It took about 30 mins to put the tires and the handle on. I bought some gas and oil and it started on the first pull. I ran it under load for a few hours to break it in and didn't have one problem with it.

I had an electrican hook it in to my house using a transfer switch. I decided not to use my elecric heat so I bought a 5 burner heater. I can run almost everything else in my house and not even put a strain on the generator. We run all the lights, 4 TVs, 2 dish receivers, 4 ceiling fans and 2 computers. When we need hot water we shut off most of the TVs and lights, turn on the hot water heater, and take showers. (My hot water heater uses 4000 watts)

If you are looking for a generator this is a great buy. I would highly recommend this!!
